Preparations for the reopening of the beach of Isola dei Bagni, in concession to Marina Monfalcone, are proceeding at a fast pace. The beach will be completely renovated for the 2023 season.
In fact, work to consolidate the 'topolino' is already almost complete, while those for the maintenance and cleaning of the shoreline and the replacement of the protections at the edge of the beach are underway.
While access to the free beach area is already active from dawn to dusk, the sunbeds and beach umbrellas rental service, the bar, and the entertainment activities will start on June 1st. The positioning and connection of the toilets, beach cleaning activities, and the laying of a corridor for kitesurfers to descent into the sea, which will be accessible to all enthusiasts, will be completed in May.
Marina Monfalcone technicians and the mayor Anna Maria Cisint carried out an inspection to check the state of the art, and in particular the consolidation of the concrete area facing the sea known as the "topolino", completely rebuilt and secured by Marina Monfalcone.
The management of the beach will employ 12 seasonal operators who will take care of the various services available to the public. The brand new structures, will be installed in the coming weeks and, close to the opening, sunbeds and beach umbrellas will also arrive, which Mayor Cisint was able to see a preview of.
Among the novelties of the Marina Monfalcone connected to the Isola dei Bagni there will also be the opening of a new entrance gate in the area of the former petrol station, close to the beach access: it has been designed to allow people on the beach to easily reach, on foot or by bicycle, the Marina to go to the bar or the restaurant, the latter recently renovated and entrusted to a new management. During the summer, Marina Monfalcone will also open the possibility of access to the former camping area, thus creating an area for walking in the shade and playing sports among the trees."We are pleased to present to the mayor the works we have carried out to make the beach of Isola dei Bagni more usable - said Hans Peter Steinacher, General Manager of Marina Monfalcone - we have invested considerably to give quality to the beach, connecting it also with Marina Monfalcone in an easier and more direct way. We must emphasize that this is a transitional season: we will continue to work to make the area ready to accommodate beach-goers with quality services, next year we will progress with the work, and in the meantime we have chosen facilities, people and programs that will allow the public at the beach to be very satisfied with the service starting this summer, which is a primary goal for us."".
